Description |
Carved root club with handle painted black with chip carving - includes turtle, bear claw, feather, pipe, and wigwam. It has a carved and painted totem pole figure on face of handle. An "Indian Chief" face is on the head, with Plains-style feather headress. The root tips are painted black, with no figures. This piece was made by both Claude Dennis (carved & painted) and Stan Neptune (chip carving). |
