Bowl/urchin form with inset cover, small porcupine curls on body and lid; splints are black, green and tan; two segments of straight sweetgrass on bottom of basket; body and ld rims have bundled sweetgrass with x-wrap; painted birchbark panel on lid attached with waxed twine, bundled sweetgrass accent; painting is scene of coast with rocky headland, small island, evergreens and beach in forground, panel approx. 3.5" diameter. |
